Marquis Stubbs is an actor, singer, and dancer with some musicianship. He was born and raised in Coral Springs, Florida and didn’t get into theatre until his senior year of high school. This where he performed his first role as Gomez Addams in The Addams Family. Now he has appeared in many other musicals, such as Escape to Margaritaville (Jamal), Fiddler on the Roof (Ensemble, u/s Nacham), and an original production of The Last Adam (Adam/Ensemble). As a dancer, he was an Assistant Choreographer for Urinetown and not only was he a Phantom in The Rocky Horror Show, but he was the dance captain as well. He is an intermediate tuba player, having studied for 7 years. In fact, he was the tuba soloist, as well as ensemble for a production of Natasha, Pierre, and The Great Comet of 1812.

When he’s not busy, he likes to have some fun playing video games and especially likes playing board games with his peers. He likes good, fun competition and likes to challenge himself with the games that he plays. He doesn’t classify this as work, but he likes to choreograph little dances for himself because it truly does bring an amount of joy to his life. He is also a bit of a foodie. He likes trying different restaurants and different foods so that he can expand his palette and have different experiences.
