Marquis Stubbs is an actor, singer, and dancer with some musicianship. He was born and raised in Coral Springs, Florida and didn’t get into theatre until his senior year of high school. This where he also performed his first role as Gomez Addams in The Addams Family. Now he has appeared in many other musicals, such as The Prom (Ensemble), Working (Man #5/ Raj Chadra u/s), and an original production of The Last Adam (Adam/Ensemble). As a dancer, not only was he a Phantom in The Rocky Horror Show, but he was also the dance captain. He has also performed at the University of Central Florida’s dance concert. He is an intermediate tuba player, having studied for 7 years and a beginner bass trombonist for 1 year. He was the tuba soloist, as well as ensemble for a production of Natasha, Pierre, and The Great Comet of 1812.
He is currently a 3rd year student at the University of Central Florida with a major in Musical Theatre and a minor in Dance. He was recently in Escape to Margaritaville as Jamal at Titusville Playhouse and is now in Fiddler on the Roof at Theatre UCF as ensemble and Beggar u/s.
When he’s not busy, he likes to have some fun playing video games and especially likes playing board games with his peers. He likes good, fun competition and likes to challenge himself with the games that he plays. He doesn’t classify this as work, but he likes to choreograph little dances for himself because it truly does bring an amount of joy to his life. He is also a bit of a foodie. He likes trying different restaurants and different foods so that he can expand his palette and have different experiences.
